Submission to the LSRN BLOG

Thank you for your interest in submitting an article for the LSRN blog. The blog is open to anyone, and we welcome a diversity of voices about a diversity of topics. You might consider:

  • Sharing examples of research-informed practice in your setting
  • Writing about a research event or role, or your experiences
  • Writing an evidence-informed opinion piece about policy or practice
  • Writing about your research, practitioner enquiry, Masters or Doctoral studies
  • Sharing examples of impactful professional development
  • Writing about evidence-informed teaching
  • Reviewing a research or practice-related book or journal article

We ask that:

  • You reflect LSRN’s purposes and values
  • You open the piece with some information about yourself
  • Your piece is linked to evidence
  • It relates to the UK FE and Skills sector
  • It is no more than around 750 words
  • You use clear language
  • It is referenced but not excessively
  • It offers relevant links to other sources or information
  • It does not cause offence
  • You have permission to include anything that you include and ensure appropriate crediting

Submit a blog, by sending it to Andrew Morris at a.j.morris@ucl.ac.uk

Your blog will be reviewed by the editors and, if accepted, posted on the LSRN website. Links to it will then be placed in the next edition of Research Round Up and on our social media feeds. You can sign up for the Research Round Up HERE.
